However, not all phones support the Call Recording feature due to differences in device dialers. Here’s how you can quickly check if your phone supports this feature and what to do if it doesn’t.
Different brands use different dialers, and some devices come with the Google Dialer, which doesn’t support call recording in Samvad.
To find out what dialer your phone uses:
1. Open this link on your Android phone: Google Dialer
2. If the app is already installed and if you see the following screen,
This means your device is using Google Dialer, and unfortunately, call recording won’t work.
But don’t worry—you can use a third-party dialer like ODialer to get call recording back.

If your phone is compatible, install ODialer to enable call recording on your device.
